Texdale is a major provider of cationic lubricants for fiberglass processing. Our mission has been to specialize in the development and supply of fiberglass protection, lubrication, and additives to the fiberglass industry. We help our customers solve their day-to-day processing challenges and allow them to produce world-class products.
In composites, KATAX® 6760L is used as a primary lubricant. It is used as a sizing composition, coupling agent, non-aminosilane, film former, borate, lubricant, and textile softener in the production of fiberglass. It is used to improve the mechanical properties of polymeric compositions reinforced with glass fibers in fiberglass.
KATAX® 6660A is used as an antistat in the scale formulation or as an add-on later in the fiber production process.
In composites, STANTEX® S FT-507 is used as a secondary lubricant, also known as a film former modified.
The agent BELSOFT® 7777 is used to give fiberglass insulation a soft hand.
